The retro-style Parkside Lodge, by three hectares of parklands in the Greenmeadows suburb of Napier City, provides excellent value accommodation – particularly for families and groups. The 21 en-suite units are simply furnished, yet contain air conditioning, flat-screen TVs, refrigerators and tea-and-coffee-making facilities. Interconnecting family rooms are also available. The vast Anderson Park is just 200 metres away, whilst the centre of Napier and the National Aquarium of New Zealand can be reached in under ten minutes by car. Hawkes Bay Airport is eight kilometres from the accommodation.
