About Retiro Park Lodge
Welcome to RETIRO PARK LODGE: one of Nelson’s finest Bed and Breakfast. Surrounded by nature yet a short drive from Nelson City centre. Retiro Park Lodge offers memorable accommodation in an oasis of quiet country charm: encircled by an extensive garden in a 90-acre property, nestled amongst the hills and the river in beautiful Teal Valley, where we rear Llamas, Alpacas and miniature horses. The property has its own producing vineyard and olive grove and is close to the main regional sights. Accommodation at Retiro Park Lodge: “The Barn”, a completely independent, spacious and purposely renovated building with vistas over the hills and the surrounding property. “The Patio Room”, a colonial style suite that opens onto a verandah overlooking an intimate vine-covered courtyard. We provide guests with a delicious breakfast using the best New Zealand produce. Dinner is highly recommended and possible by prior arrangement, especially on arrival day.
