The Chinese Room retains its handpainted wallpaper from the Georgian period. The tea room and restaurant occupy the fifteenth century manor hall. There are exhibitions of ceramics, dolls houses and portraits throughout the house. The estate has a range of landscaped gardens and riverside walks, a model farm and a deer park. A series of special events are hosted at the house throughout the year. There is an estate shop which sells garden plants and local grown and home cooked produce.
