Tokaanu Hotel (Turangi, New Zealand)

Tokaanu Hotel has recently reopened. Fourteen of twenty seven rooms have been renovated to date. Located 3 mins from the Southern end of Lake Taupo, back-dropped by the majestic mountains of Tokaanu, and 5-7 mins' drive from Turangi Center. Each room is comfortably heated by geothermal water, and fitted with bath-shower units. There are tea and coffee making facilities, and ample onsite parking. Complimentary WiFi and freeview HD are also available for the entertainment and relaxation of Hotel guests, as well as a large natural mineral Hot Pool. Over the next few months the Restaurant, Lounge and Sports Bars will also be reopened to Hotel guests and members of the general public. Conference & Event facilities are currently limited; however menu options will be available in the near future. Tokaanu Hotel is 30 minutes to the snow and mountain ski fields, and 20 minutes to the Tongariro Crossing. Exactly halfway between Wellington and Auckland.
