About Whakaipo Lodge

There are two suites at Whakaipo Lodge. Whakaipo Bay Reserve is next to the property, thus enabling guests to admire this scenery and birdlife from the comfort of their private patio. The Ruapehu and Tongariro Suites are air-conditioned with complimentary toiletries and bathrobes provided. A refrigerator, tea and coffee facilities and safe are included, together with a DVD player and LED TV. Wi-Fi is free. Courtesy airport transfer and free parking are among the facilities provided at Whakaipo Lodge. Optional and diverse services include luggage storage and cycle hire, plus body scrub and massage. Guests enjoy a full country-style breakfast. Pre-dinner drinks are offered and, by prior arrangement, dinner features an abundance of locally sourced produce. Alternative dining is approximately four miles away at restaurants such as The Bay Bar and Brasserie in Acacia Bay. It is a drive of around 15 minutes to golf at The Kinloch Club and two minutes to the mosaics and refreshments at L'arté Cafe & Gallery.
