The Budderoo National Park is located 15 km from Kiama, 20 km from Bowra, 50 km from Wollongong. The park occupies an area of more than 7,000 ha, it is open throughout the year, but may have to close at times due to bad weather or fire danger. The park is accessible by car, public transportation and bicycle. The bus service operates on a daily basis, and there is also a taxi service to the site. The higher elevations of the park reach about 750 meters, the landscape is cut by Minnamurra Falls Gorge, one can observe cliffs and crags. The park is home to various animal species and for a variety of plants. The park has an information center, picnic area, wheelchair accessibility, trails for bikes and walkers.
