The Harbour Bridge Climb offers visitors an opportunity to get to know one of Sydney’s most iconic constructions in greater depth than can be achieved by just walking across it. BridgeClimb is the company which offers guided bridge experiences and has already taken more than 2 million visitors on organised climbs. Tour options include two tours called the Bridge Climb or the Discovery Climb, each of which takes approximately 3.5 hours and go to the summit of the bridge at a height of 134m above the harbour. Climb groups have no more than 14 members and are led by professional climb leaders. The Bridge Climb takes visitors along the upper span of the arch whilst the Discovery route is more of an ‘insider’ view of the construction. All climbs start with a compulsory alcohol breath test and a safety briefing. Overalls are provided to wear over your clothes and all personal items like mobile phones and cameras have to be left in the free lockers. Radio headsets are provided so all participants can hear the group leader and a climb simulator is provided before the climb begins. Participants must be at least 10 years old and 1.2 m tall and must be in good health.
